LEIZU celebrates the golden age of China and is named after the empress who, according to tradition, discovered silk when a cocoon fell into her teacup and unraveled in the heat.

Framed by golden leaves and plum blossom, a train of horses signifying strength and successful travel encircle a lotus flower sat at the centre of an ancient seal. Red and yellow represent fortune and luck whilst black and white illustrate yin and yang, the interdependence of the natural world.

LEIZU commemorates 2014, the Chinese Year of the Horse.
