Mulberry silk is the smoothest, softest and strongest silk in the world. It contains a protein called sericin that makes it hypoallergenic, very kind to the skin and completely resistant to dust mites. The structure of the fabric allows it to retain up to a third of its weight in moisture and regulate body temperature, making it the perfect material for a year-round scarf.

Mulberry silk is produced from the cocoons of the bombyx mori domesticated silk worm that is fed exclusively on the leaves of the white mulberry tree. This nutrient-rich, sustainable diet creates strong and pure silk strands that are then woven into the most beautiful silk.

Handmade by Master Artisans

Our scarves are handmade in England by master artisans employing the latest sustainable techniques. We use water-based inks that are "Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Ink" and "GOTS ECOCERT Certified Ink" certified. Mulberry silk is particularly good at absorbing colour quickly and evenly, resulting in a vibrant, rich print.
