By understanding that I am a ‘Craftsman-Designer’, I not only take into account my role as creator but also the pleasure I receive in the manual act of physical creation. This act creates a connection to my work which in turn translates into fulfilment for my clients. This fulfilment brings to light that, regardless of modern technology, the spirit of traditional craftsmanship is too valuable to be ignored. It is very easy to become disenchanted with an impersonal, mechanised direction of creation.”
